CARROT, BEET & ORANGE CRUSH
(Makes 3 cups)

The colour of this drink is rich.
The flavour is exotic. The hint of ginger makes this
crushed vegetable and fruit drink a winner.
5 carrots
1 small piece ginger root (1 inch/2.5 cm)
2 large beets
1 cup (250 mL) orange juice
Peel the carrots and cut them into
juicer-size pieces.
Peel and slice the ginger.
Trim and peel the beets and cut
them into juicer-size pieces.
Put the carrots, ginger and beets
through a juicer.
Pour the crush into a pitcher and
stir in the orange juice.
