The Telly Awards honour the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. Our mission has been to create a program by RVers for RVers showcasing the best in RV travel. We also strive to impart  information that enhances the RV lifestyle.  It seems we reached our goal again. RVTV won in two categories; Travel / Tourism and Information.
 

    

 

  RVTV to re-launch on the Versus Network
  Great news for all our loyal viewers! RVTV has just signed a multi-year agreement to broadcast on the VERSUS Network. This will more than triple the number of households we were able to reach on the Outdoor Channel. Over 75 million households will now have access to RVTV via most cable providers as well as Dish Network (Channel 151) and DirecTV (Channel 603). This will make RVTV available to 83% of all households in the United States that have either cable or satellite service.  We'll be bringing you lots of great RVing information and stories from across the Country and it all starts on Thursday July 30th at 8:30am EST. Join us then or set your recorder and get ready for many more episodes of the ONLY television program made "By RVers For RVers
     

RVTV parts company with Outdoor Channel

After 5 great years, The Outdoor Channel has decided not to renew RVTV for 2009. They have decided to focus more on their core programming of hunting and fishing shows. Since RVTV was one of the few shows on the network that didn't kill anything, we no longer fit their format. We are very grateful to The Outdoor Channel for their support over the last 5 years and wish them continued success in the hunting and fishing category.

Executive Producer and host Rob Engman, is currently negotiating with another U.S. Network and hopes to have a deal in place later this year. The new network is on the basic tier of both Direct TV and DISH Network, so folks won't have to buy the extra package to watch RVTV.
